In the rural Herefordshire village of Garway a Passivhaus community centre has been constructed in line with their plans for a sustainable future. The successful bid to Big Lottery Fund in 2016 made the project a reality. The centre will provide many functions for thevillage, including a large multi-functional hall, an outreach medical centre, a cafe and a part-time post-office. The positive social effect of all generations in the community coming together here will be possible.
