The initial design complied with PassivHaus standard. There were a number of design limitations, but the resulting home is proof thatbeautiful and sympathetic design and living space can still be achieved within theseconstraints. Good use is made of its south-facing aspect with many windows on the south face and the roof area utilised to make use of solarthermal panels for hot water heating.
